What are Highlights?
Highlighting is an ideal choice if you have a great base hair tone, it helps to enhance your natural color. It brightens and lifts your natural base to create lightness and can give you a very dynamic look. There are different variations of highlighting techniques. Specific sectioning techniques are used to make sure hair is evenly highlighted so it doesn’t have a streaky result.

What are Lowlights? Lowlights use the same technique as highlights but a darker color is painted through to create a dimensional multi-tonal result. Lowlights are usually added through if you have been having highlights for awhile, as over time more hair is highlighted (lightened) so the dimension created by leaving woven pieces of your natural color is lost, low lights re-create that dimension.

What is Color Melting?

It involves placing two or three shades along the hair shaft, and diffusing the shades together so there’s absolutely no line of demarcation.
